Mission Statement
Our mission is to strengthen South Jersey’s farm culture by connecting people and farms, supporting farmers, and elevating our region as a destination for agriculture, food, and agritourism.
Who We Are
South Jersey Preservation is a community-led non-profit organization made up of residents who are passionate about supporting local farms, growing small businesses, and celebrating the rural heritage that defines our region. We collaborate with municipal, county, and state partners, as well as community-based organizations, to advocate, educate, and promote initiatives that strengthen Salem, Gloucester, and Cumberland Counties.
A Community-Supported 501(c)(3) Nonprofit
South Jersey Preservation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening and preserving the farms, rural communities, and agricultural traditions that make South Jersey unique.
Our organization works to identify challenges facing our agricultural community, bring the right partners and expertise to the table, and turn ideas into practical solutions. From farmer education and regional food initiatives to community events, agritourism, and projects that strengthen local agricultural infrastructure, our work is focused on creating meaningful, lasting impact throughout South Jersey.

As a nonprofit, our work is made possible through donations, sponsorships, grants, partnerships, and community support. These resources allow us to develop programs, create new opportunities for local farms, and bring people together around the land, food, and traditions that define our region.

Support local. Strengthen agriculture. Preserve South Jersey.
